02The thesis
Three beliefs the company is built on.
Cities generate real-time information at street level: kerb use, flow, movement, that almost nobody actually measures. AI built for urban space is trained on estimates, not evidence.
Autonomy for delivery robots and vehicles has largely exhausted what simulation can teach. The remaining gap is validation against real, messy, unpredictable streets, not another synthetic environment.
European privacy regulation is tightening the requirements for any system operating in public space. Rather than treat this as a constraint to work around, we designed Civimatica from the edge to never collect personal data in the first place, which we believe makes deployment easier, not harder.
