## One line

Civimatica builds physical AI for cities: our own street-level sensing devices,
the AI models trained on what they measure, and a real-street test environment
where companies build and validate their own models. Privacy by design, from

## What we build

- **Sensing hardware.** Devices deployed at street level that measure the state
  of the street (kerb use, occupancy, pedestrian and vehicle flow). They are
  built to measure space and movement, not identities.
- **AI models.** Models of urban state and prediction trained on that measured
  reality, served as APIs and run at the edge on our own devices.
- **Intelligence layer.** Data is reduced and aggregated on the device; what
  leaves is already stripped of personal information.

### Civimatica Models (our models)
AI models for urban state and prediction, trained on streets we measure
ourselves. Delivered as APIs and edge deployments; custom builds for specific
machines, cities and specs.

### Civimatica Sandbox (your models)
A physical, real-street test environment plus datasets and validation runs for
teams building autonomous delivery robots, vehicles and urban AI. An
alternative to simulation-only development.

### Civimatica Devices (physical AI)
Our own sensing hardware running models at the edge. The layer that makes the
street measurable, and the same fleet that instruments Sandbox routes and
produces ground truth.

## Thesis

1. **Streets are unmeasured.** AI built for urban space is trained on estimates
   and proxies because nobody measures the street continuously.
2. **Autonomy has exhausted simulation.** The remaining gap for delivery robots
   and vehicles is validation in dense, messy, real urban space.
3. **Privacy is a moat, not a tax.** Operating sensing infrastructure in EU
   public space increasingly requires systems that never collect personal data.
   Ours does not.

- No identities at the edge: devices measure state, not people.
- Aggregate before it leaves: reduction happens on the device.
- European by construction: built and operated in Europe under EU data rules,
  with data minimisation as a design constraint, not a policy page.
